Account Manager (Japanese-speaking)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communication between Japanese clients and agency
  • Keep agency briefed and updated on status of all projects
  • Work with digital media team to ensure timely reporting
  • Assist strategy team with preparation of presentations and other materials as needed for client meetings and pitches
  • Submit advertising and marketing proposals to client for approval
  • Participate in all internal, client-related meetings
  • Maintain and update client files
  • Support billing and financial reconciliation activities
  • Contribute to pitches as part of wider agency team

Requirements:

  • Native Japanese
  • Business English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior time management and organizational abilities
  • Competency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must currently reside in Japan

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a client-facing role
  • Understanding of project management
  • Previous experience in digital marketing

Junior Digital Advertising Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of client accounts under supervision of the Senior Digital Advertising Specialist.
  • Manage media budgets to ensure proper allocation in accordance with campaign contract terms and project goals.
  • Proactively make recommendations for performance improvements to clients.
  • Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates on a regular basis.
  • Generate and deliver performance reports to clients on an ongoing and ad hoc basis.
  • Exceed client expectations and performance goals on daily basis to help foster strong client relationships.
  • Stay up to date on industry changes/developments in digital advertising.
  • Travel abroad to attend industry events, conferences and client meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Native-level English
  • JLPT N2 certification
  • Comfortable with numbers and analyzing data
  • Demonstrated competency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must currently reside in Japan

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field
  • Experience working in a multicultural office environment
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
