Account Manager (Japanese-speaking)


Responsibilities:

Lead communication between Japanese clients and agency
Keep agency briefed and updated on status of all projects
Work with digital media team to ensure timely reporting
Assist strategy team with preparation of presentations and other materials as needed for client meetings and pitches
Submit advertising and marketing proposals to client for approval
Participate in all internal, client-related meetings
Maintain and update client files
Support billing and financial reconciliation activities
Contribute to pitches as part of wider agency team

Requirements:

Native Japanese
Business English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior time management and organizational abilities
Competency with Excel and PowerPoint
Must currently reside in Japan

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a client-facing role
Understanding of project management
Previous experience in digital marketing

Junior Digital Advertising Specialist

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of client accounts under supervision of the Senior Digital Advertising Specialist.
Manage media budgets to ensure proper allocation in accordance with campaign contract terms and project goals.
Proactively make recommendations for performance improvements to clients.
Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates on a regular basis.
Generate and deliver performance reports to clients on an ongoing and ad hoc basis.
Exceed client expectations and performance goals on daily basis to help foster strong client relationships.
Stay up to date on industry changes/developments in digital advertising.
Travel abroad to attend industry events, conferences and client meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
Native-level English
JLPT N2 certification
Comfortable with numbers and analyzing data
Demonstrated competency with Excel and PowerPoint
Must currently reside in Japan

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field
Experience working in a multicultural office environment
Basic HTML/CSS skills
Familiarity with social media platforms
